E3 2011

XBox 360 Kinect EA Sports Titles to add support for Kinect in 2012. 

It was announced at E3 that Kinect will support functions in new versions of Madden NFL, FIFA,  and Tiger Woods PGA Tour.  It was also announced that Mass Effect 3 will support voice recognition. Also announced for Kinect is a new game called Ryse.  Ryse is set in the ages of the Roman Empire.

Microsoft also announced that YouTube will be coming to Xbox Live.  Plus Bing is coming to Xbox- You Say It, Xbox Finds It.

Game Kart Halo Reach Tournament

Game Kart will be at the Overland Park Soccer Complex Saturday March 12th and Sunday March 13th from 8 AM - Noon for a Halo Reach Tournament.  Contestants will have the chance to win a Game Kart party.  See us a the event for details.

More On BulletStorm Epic Edition

The more we play BulletStorm the more we enjoy it.  There are settings to turn down the language and gore.  It is playable and challenging for game players different skill levels.  The causual gamer and play and enjoy BulletStorm with it set to an easier level.  The Chapters allow you to re-start after you lose without starting all the way over.

We still really enjoy the sound and rumbles with this game in Game Kart.  You need to experience it.

Game Kart and the Heartland Soccer Association announce a new fun activity for the annual Border Battle Soccer Tournament.  Game Kart Mobile Video Game Theater will be at the Overland Park Soccer Complex during the tournament for video game fun.  If your soccer team is looking for a family friendly activity between games then Game Kart is for you.  Local and out of town teams can schedule time slots in Game Kart between games and experience Game Karts' full imersion gaming environment.

Up to 16 players at a time can experience the latest video games on Xbox, Wii, and PlayStation 3.  Our game library includes Call Of Duty Black Ops, Halo Reach, FIFA Soccer 11, Mario Kart and all your favorites.  Our custom sound system, 46 inch HD screens and 25 feet of seating that vibrates and rumbles with the action provides an awesome gaming experience.  Kids of all ages and adults all enjoy Game Kart.

Bulletstorm Epic Edition Review

Game Kart did a full game preview of Bulletstorm Epic Edition this week with Best Buy in Lee's Summit.  Our skilled gamers that attended the event thought Bulletstorm was awesome.  We had a couple of players that played the game for 10+ hours!  It's got to be fun to hold your attention that long.

Bulletstorm is a collaborative effort of People Can Fly, Epic Games and EA.  It is rated Mature 17+.  Parents- It does have strong language with some creative swearing.  It also has graphic violence.  Both can be turned down in the game settings if you choose to let younger players experience Bulletstorm.  The graphics are great.  The storyline is also enjoyable.  There are many suprizes along the way in the story and game play that keep you sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next.  There is also a fair amount of sophisticated humor involved in the game that is enjoyable. 

Bulletstorm is promoted with the tag line "Kill With Skill".  Players find creative ways to defeat enemies in the game and score more points for creative kills.  There are also some rather large creatures that are remanisent of Japanese horror films and Ghostbusters that must be defeated. I won't say more about them or I would spoil some of the suprizes and fun.

We think you will find Bulletstorm enjoyable and worth adding to your collection.  Lest we forget, you need to experience Bulletstorm in Game Kart Mobile Video Game Theaters's full imersion gaming environment.  This game has fantastic video and audio.  Our custom seating that vibrates and rumbles with the action really adds to the fun of the game. 

I'll rate this game 4.7 stars out of 5.
